This will be short, as I spent my College Football Saturday in Florence, Kansas at a wedding trying to follow scores on my phone with limited service….After their 55-0 win over Kansas State, Oklahoma is now 59-0 against an unranked Kansas State.

The Kansas Jayhawks are awful, almost as bad as the officiating this season. Officials seem to have taken the ‘when in doubt, throw a flag’ approach. Let the players play, at least a little.

Earlier this season after losing to South Dakota, we asked how Kansas would fare in the Missouri Valley, the Coyotes are 1-2 in conference play and 3-3 overall, and coming off of a win against North Dakota St this weekend. I can’t imagine Kansas faring any better in the Missouri Valley than they have in the Big 12.

First year Michigan coaches are now 0-7 against Michigan State, something tells me this loss will be one that both sides remember. Everyone can second-guess punting in that situation, but it was the right move. Punt it away game over, but give me this throw a long pass, run another play garbage, you punt it away and the game is over. It was a fluke play, end of story.

Things to look forward to:1 Ohio State at Rutgers – Not sure if this qualifies, but it’s the ABC Primetime game and JT Barrett gets the start.

20 Cal at UCLA – UCLA’s season derailed by injuries, Cal on the verge of something great.

Oregon at Arizona State – At the beginning of the season this would have been a ‘playoff semifinal’.

12 Stanford at Washington State – The Cougs are a surprising 4-2 and look to spoil Stanford’s run.

14 Memphis at Tulsa – The Memphis season just got the spotlight, they are sneaking up on anyone any more.

17 Texas A&M at 23 Ole Miss – Both teams still have dreams of winning the West, they’ll need some help. Also, the only match up of ranked opponents.

5 Utah at USC – Utah has everything to play for and currently are in the driver seat for a playoff. Yet, a head coach-less, unranked, 3-3 USC is a 3.5 home favorite.

Tennessee at 9 Alabama – Saban has this team playing like a team that has their back against the wall and they have responded.

Northwestern at Nebraska – The Wildcats started off so promising, which team will show up on Saturday?   The Huskers worked out some aggression Saturday on the Gophers, have they turned the corner?

Texas Tech at 18 Oklahoma – Can Kliff Kingsbury get this team to turn the corner? One week they look like they can beat anyone, the next anyone can beat them.

Kentucky at Miss St – Should be a fun SEC match-up.

Auburn at Arkansas – Auburn quietly salvaging a season that once looked like it could turn into a trainwreck.
